Labels won't print property with new printer installed

Recently installed a new HP officejet 5610 all-in-one. Trying to print the
Avery Label template #8167 that was previously set up prior to purchase; now
won't print the labels on the document correctly.
The top line of labels are inside the labels, however the bottom line of
labels the text is touching the previous cut line of labels. And, the bottom
line of labels, the third line of text does not print (all you can see is the
top half of the text).
Before changing printers I had a Brother MFC3100C and printed these sames
labels without any problem.
Have spent several hours in on-line chats with HP technical, and also phone
call to Canadian Support line. All were not able to resolve the printing
problem. With techies assistance, I did the uninstall/re-install and also
installed different print drivers...all to no avail. I'm pulling my hair out
over this...I need to get this resolved.
Could this be a MS-Word layout problem now? Windows Vista Ultimate O/S.
Help me please!
Thank you.

Assuming that both the print driver and the page layout have the same page
size, there is no scaling option set in the print dialog, and you have not
added a header/footer to normal.dot, then it is entirely possible that your
printer struggles with the label stock. Some printers are poor at printing
anything other than plain paper.

Thanks Graham!
Reviewed the page settings for the new printer and it was as A4! Oh my
goodness, I changed it and it works...lesson has been learned!

I am happy for you that the cheaper options worked :)
