Label wizard

Have tried to use a label-wizard generated report to print 3-across labels
containing the following 7 fields. Some can be null:

Company
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
City, State, Country, Zip Code

Once in a while a field repeats itself two or three times, vertically,
generating more lines on the printed page than there are in the form.
Fields used as the recordsource don't contain multiple (repeat) items.
Errors repeat on the same records every time labels are printed.

Any suggestions for cause & remedy?

not sure if there is an answer per se as much as a trouble shooting effort....

if it is always the same records - that might be a hint...It is just fields
that repeat and not entire records?....

perhaps the field's defined size is 255 but the physical size is much
smaller so there is actually more data in those records than you can normally
see...maybe people in a rush copy/paste duplicate info into the same field
multiple times...

another idea; in a backup - if you can; delete those records - see if the
problem now occurs with other records....

surely it has nothing to do with the labels stock - you can use regular
paper....

I don't think that a field repeats itself just because it is too small...at
least I have never seen that.....but I would zero in on those records.....

Nothing unusual I can see about the field contents. Typed in accurately via
a textbox on a form.

Thanks for helping.

It appears that what has happened is that something has occurred during
entry, like an interruption, pressing a control key & some other keys, maybe
something was dropped onto the keyboard. No evidence of stray characters
but when the fields are retypes the bad behavior disappears!
