:: so this is the virus with all of the stuff as below ::

//----- Original message follows -----

//Microsoft Customer

// this is the latest version of security update, the
// "February 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which eliminates all
// known security vulnerabilities affecting Internet Explorer,
// Outlook and Outlook Express as well as five newly discovered
// vulnerabilities. Install now to protect your computer from these
// vulnerabilities, the most serious of which could allow an attacker

blah blah blah ::

:: now the virus isn't on my system (anymore), got rid of it, not sending
out any mails to anyone etc etc etc...

the problem is though is that *I'm* still recieving thirty emails a day from
seemingly everyone else in the world with the virus on it :: outlook just
deletes them as soon as they download, but is there anyway to get rid of
them completely, to the extent where I just won't be downloading all these
messages, and can put this whole thing behind me? I haven't got a clue!

any help, gratefully received!

I suggest you look at the headers
(Right Click/Properties/etails/Messsage Source)
and see whether or not they come from the same source.

If you can identify a unique origin, politely notify that ISP at
abuse@ispname

This morning I received over 40 W32...So..Big through RoadRunner
servers. I hope my request will be taken into consideration... I
hope...

Roadrunner? I got at least 20 from there. Is it IP 24.174.235.158, as
with me?

Close enough... mine were from 24.174.73.102.

Now the ISP has changed, it seems to be from Verizon: 151.202.120.221

No to mention numerous MAILER-DAEMON also with W32 .. So.. big....E

It is a PAIN!
