kvm swich

i have a kvm like the one in this picture <img src="http://

and i have 2 computers on it. when i boot my second computer the mouse
stops working on the first, i then unplug the mouse from the kvm and
put it back in and it works on the first one again but i cant get the
second one to work at all even after unpluging the mouse again.
dose anyone know a reason this might be happeing or even how to solve
it?

Duff KVM switch, replace it.

I had one of these "cheap" kvm switches, nothing but trouble. I'd suggest
replacing it with a Belkin equivalent.
