Knowledge base fix

Does anyone know how to fix this problem:
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 828940
I was trying to troubleshoot my Linksys wireless USB
device and it told me to go into my wireless network
connection, and go to the Authentication tab. And if I
don't have an authetication tab, it referred me to the
Microsoft fix, which makes you pay for an answer. Can
anyone out there help me out?

I'm looking for the hotfix listed in article # 834565. When I go through the
contact us it says "your credit card will be charged $59.00." I can't take
that chance that I will be charged to fix this wireless network freeze up
annoyance. Is there anything different I can do?

Only ask for the hotfix, no other questions.

If you only mention the Article number, the hotfix and your issue specific to the
hf you shouldn't be charged.
