Kit Guru have reviewed the Kingston HyperX Predator 2666mhz Memory kit - here's what they thought about it:

"Kingston’s HyperX Predator 2666mhz is an extremely high performance memory kit targeting the enthusiast audience who wish to squeeze every last ounce of bandwidth from their new system build.

In the past a market leading memory kit such as this was priced out of reach for most people, however Kingston have been very aggressive with their marketing strategy in 2012. They were the first company to squeeze the price of a 256GB SSD to under £100 this year.

While availability of the HyperX Predator 2,666mhz memory has not yet been confirmed, the company have informed us that this 8GB kit will be priced at £114.84 inc vat.

This is obviously still notably more expensive than an 8GB kit of 2,133mhz memory, however there is always a premium to pay for buying into the ultra high end sector of any market. I actually feel it offers reasonably good value for money, especially when factoring in the performance results we have achieved today."
