In the meta tags you can have a metatag for a description and one for
keywords. The are in between the Heading Tags in the html and should
look like:

<meta name="DESCRIPTION" content="succinct description of your site">
<meta name="KEYWORDS" content="keyword1, keyword2, keyword2, etc">

They should be at least on the default.htm page

But search robots look all over for stuff -- in the body text, in
between the Title Tags, wherever

Thank you for your reply.

1. What is the use of the meta tag description,
except for me who knows it? Can other people access this?
2. If search robots look everywhere, are the
keywords useless then?

Yes...

Right click a page and press Page Properties in the general tab you can edit
title keywords and description there.

Or This is the only 'free' FrontPage add on I know for this feature. There
three or four 'to buy' add ons some with trials or demos.

This FP add on helps 'remind' you if you have forgotton to insert your tags
and is also free.
