Keystroke to minimize program

I have learned that Windows-D will minimize to the task bar all open
programs. However, is there a keystroke that will minimize only the program
currently in use? eg. to use in place of the "-" icon

Alt+SpaceBar N
 
I knew lot's of Things about Windows Xp.... anyways Thanks Yukoner..
because i did'nt knew that before!

That's not anywhere new to XP, may go back to 3.11, but definately Win95.
