Hi:
Mouse and keyboard stopped working after 'System Restore.'

Then, in my desperate measure, I plugged off one of devices, Keyboard
from the computer. After that, the mouse started working in perfect state.

However, the problem is:
Both Mouse and keyboard stopped working after I connected 'Keyboard'
next to 'Mouse' on the back of the computer. USB connection on both.

Wonder what would be this problem causing?
Sounds like not because of 'System Restore?'
Is this contact/ 'connection' with USB ports?

Just considence happened after |System Restore?

My computer is pre-installed 'WindowsXP' Home Edition with USB.

Any suggestions would be VERY grateful.

click start & then click run & type /scannow
then press enter. when you get a chance to, go to your
command prompt & type: sfc/?
enter.

Hi:
Thanks for your response. I really appreciate.

I found it was NOT 'System Restore.'
It was 'Hardware' problem, ... serious enough to 'fly'
motherboard.

However, I used the HP computer without any problems for
the past five years. Then, I'm heading for buying another
computer tomorrow.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy a major brand computer like HP or
Dell. Get a small computer store to build you one.
