Is there a keyboard shortcut for opening attachments in e-mail?
Not directly, but it can be done. What version of Outlook?
Generally speaking, hit tab until the attachment is highlighted and then
hit enter. But 2k7 adds some different features with the attachment preview
option.

In Outlook, I selected a message with an attachment from the Message List.
I hit enter to open the message.
I hit shift-tab to end up on the line that says Message and each attachment.
I hit right arrow to switch to the attachment and it opens in the attachment
previewer.
If I want to open the attachment in its own app, I can hit enter.
