Keyboard Settings

I am running XP Home. I have one user where the keyboard
response time per key is about 3 - 5 seconds per key to
respond.

If I change to another user, the keyboard response is
what I would call normal. So it isn't a device program
per se.

What kind of setting would control this and jow would I
re-set it?

Go into the control panel then click on keyboard and look at the
settings there. You might find something that seems off.
