keyboard problem

my keyboard is acting strangely when i use the guest account on my computer.
if i press the @ key on my keyboard, the " symbol comes up. conversley,
when the " is pressed, the @ symbol appears.
when i use the main administrator account there is no problem.
i have run an anti-virus scan but there is no virus. i suspect it is a set
up problem. can anyone help ? thanks

May need to change the area settings for the keyboard in the control
panel : for guest account.
