Keyboard problem.

I have a Dell Inspiron 2600 with XP SP2. I recently changed my visual style,
but immediately after I did that, I noticed that my keyboard on my laptop had
"seized up". Nothing would respond, not even the "locks" (Num, Caps, Scroll).
I'm using an external keyboard right now and would really like to get back to
just typing on that notebook. I posted a similar issue on the Dell Forums two
years back, but I seem to have misplaced my documentation for that. (and also
I think Dell forums are now closed?) Could anyone help me please?
