Keyboard-operated resolution change (like the feature from Xorg in Linux)

Hello!

In the Linux X servers (Xorg, Xfree86) you can change display resolution by
pressing a key combination.

Doesn't always work (depends on the video card) but is a nice feature
anyway.

I'm looking for a similar tool for Windows. E.g. press a key combinarion and
switch from 1024x768 @ 75Hz to 800x600 @ 75Hz.

I would benefit of this for using with my 2nd display - TV connected to the
video card.

Any suggestions?

If you use Win9x you can try QRes:

Windows XP here :(
My video card (GeForce FX 5200) driver (NView) supports key combinations,
but not for resolution changing (and I don't feel like loading it, as here
it causes Firefox to eat 100% of CPU).

Windows XP here :(

So you can use MultiRes:

Again, you need to create a couple of shortcuts to the executable using
the resolution switching parameters, you want to use, inside the command
line strings of these shortcuts.

Define a different hotkey to each shortcut and you should be done. (I
hope it works as described on its website. Never used it myself...)
