keyboard only parts work

[Confused join the club]

Have xp pro and the keyboard stoped working but only the numbers and letter
sections the multimeadia all still work this was plugged in to the ps2 port
waorked for years
Brought new one this plugs in to usb the same problem no numbers or letters
but multimedia bits work
try reinstalling the drives no luck
thing is both key board work in the bio sections

nothing for at lest 8 months and the computer does not have internet accsess

Sounds like your keyboard just wore out. It happens. The solution:
buy another. They are cheap enough.

But why post HERE? This is not related to the OS and out of place.
