My keyboard is not functioning in Word, but will function on the web and in spreasheets.
It has been working until last night - I have had my new computer for about a month. Windows XP with Works Suite and it doesn't state what Word version I have. I have trounshot all I can

I read your post - I have been using this computer for the last month and everything has been fine - it will not work ONLY in Word since yesterday and was working there before. I have changed out keyboards (same problem) and gone thru all help menus in Word and on Dell Support

If it is an activation problem - did it run out or was only good for 30 days

There is no help about this problem in either Word, Works Suite or Dell Supprt on my computer. This is not a hardware problem, because the keyboard works everywhere else it must be another issue

Check that your computer if virus free and spy-bot free, using up to
date checkers....

While in Word, if you can use your mouse, check under the Help menu. There
is a command to activate the product. If you haven't activated it, this will
show you how. If you have, it will tell you that you've already activated
it.
