There used to be a utility for DOS called Superkey. You can program
any keystroke into a combination of keys.

I wonder if there is any similar utility for Win 2k or XP ? Thanks.

Superkey was fine under DOS but is not really suitable
under Windows, because DOS was single-tasking whereas
Windows is multi-tasking. If you used Superkey in Windows
then your keystrokes might be applied to the wrong process!

You could try AutoIt (http://www.hiddensoft.com/AutoIt/).

I tried a program called "KeyMan" a couple of years ago. Back
then it was not quite ready for prime time, but maybe it has been
improved by now.

It also had the capability to watch for dialogs spawned by any
program and automatically click on an OK or Cancel button for you.
