Can anyone tell me why my new keyboard is displaying a é and É when trying to
use the forward slash or question mark key. My language and settings is for
canada English....What am I missing.

trying to use the forward slash or question mark key. My language
and settings is for canada English....What am I missing.

Have you looked at the language toolbar. (Right click the toolbar and select
Toolbars|Language Bar)

I am in Australia, and my language setting is English - Australia.

But the language toolbar shows US. If in fact yours shows US International,
you will get the accented characters you refer to.
I sometimes set this deliberately to enable me to write accented characters.

Just set it back to US and you will be OK. (Right click the keyboard icon
that appears after you activate the language toolbar, choose Settings and
change from US International to US)
