keyboard driver prevents logon

I installed the latest Logitech diver for my cordless
mouse/keyboard. It locked up at the end so I had to
restart. Now I can use the mouse to select the logon but
as soon as I touch a key the whole system locks up so I
cannot get into anything.

I have tried selecting 'last good installtion' & 'Safe
mode' but they give the same result.

Does anyone know if you can force a clean boot with only
essential/basic drivers?

I can then roll back the driver update, hopefully.

I really do not want to re-install all my software.

Help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Malcolm

That's what safe mode is. Try the recovey console. Boot from XP CD and choose Repair. Type help while there.
