keyboard acting up

When I hit sertain keys my keyboard shows several letters
like when I hit the w key we shows on the screen so when
I type it all comes out fumbled looking? I upgraded to
winXP from win98 and it still does it. I have tried
different keyboards also
 
If this is in a wordprocessing program
check "Autocomplete" to see if this may be the problem.
