Key Code for Vista-Business to XP Pro downgrade

I'm reselling white box laptops with Vista Business and an "XP Downgrade
option" where XP is pre-installed, Vista media restore disks are
provided, and the O/S authentication sticker is for Vista Bus.

This week, I took delivery of the first of these on which I installed MS
Office 2007 (OEM) and other software, then SYSPREPed the box and sent it on.

Now on power up, the customer needs an XP Pro keycode that doesn't seem to
exist and the whitebox mfr has been no help at all. (SOHO customer's other
machines variously have XP Home and MCE on them.)

Where do I go to help my customer?

TIA,
Brian

You need OEM/reseller licensing support, I'd think.

I did a search through the partner site, and came up empty. This
information must be in there somewhere, but it is covered in so many layers
that I didn't get to it.

You said that you were reselling a white-box product? I think that your
proper channel is back to the white box vendor--if they can't handle the
technical question, they should be able to tell you who to call.

I've built and resold the products you mention, but without the XP downgrade
option--so I've no idea how that should work, I'm afraid.
