Logging in to Windows I get the error message: Can't find
'C:\windows\System32\kernels64.exe'. Anyone know what happened and how
to fix it? thanks.

Is it Kernels64.exe or kernel64.exe? Not that it makes much
difference. It appears that your computer is infested with at least
one spyware/trojan item and you need to clean it up.

Make certain that your antivirus software is completely up to date
with the virus definitions not more than a week old and do a complete
virus scan of your computer.

If you do not have any antispyware software installed try the free
beta version of Microsoft Antispyware from
http://download.microsoft.com
(a temporary alternative would be to get the free 14 day trial of
Webroot Spysweeper from http://www.webroot.com/download)

Then get a "second opinion" by doing a free online scan at one of the
following sites:
Kaspersky Online Scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
WindowSecurity.com TrojanScan http://windowssecurity.com/trojanscan

Good luck
