KERNEL32.DLL problem - HELP!

S

Stephen

Hi

Although the problem is on a Windows 2000 OS,
I am hoping someone here can shed some light on this as
the Newsgroup for W2K is very thin on users, and as yet
no response.

I am trying to help a friend with their W2K problem.

She keeps getting the following message;

The Procedure Entry Point "Get Process Flags" could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL

She has to keep hitting OK (about 20 times) for it to close.

Then she gets: "This computer has locked"
She then has to re-enter her password.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance - Stephen

Fear you may have a stuffed version of Kernel32.dll, or one not up to date
for this system. For a similar error, I had to re-instal w2k (repair, not
overwrite).
