and the reply was we no longer host Kellys' site.

Yes, this is true. I switched from Cajun.Net (dial-up) to Road Runner
(cable) and with doing so, none of my absolute links work anymore as they
are directed to Cajun.Net.

Again, this is my Win98 site, my XP site is all well. It will take me a
great deal of time to correct everything for Win98. Besides, beings I no
longer support Win98, this wasn't a major issue for me. Sorry, about that.

If I haven't thanked you before for your invaluable Windows XP help and
guidance, I am thanking you now. I was a Windows XP newbie when I first
subscribed to this group, which has been like a Windows XP online college
course for me. You and Doug Knox are the professors who have tenure. (BTW,
I switched to Road Runner last month, and I hope that you are as pleased
with it as I am)

What a Grande response! Thank you so much for taking the time to do so and
you are most welcome. :o)

Speaking of college, I have three degrees and have never taken a computer
course, ever. My chosen fields don't even apply to computers, just people.
I simply came here (actually the Win98 General group) one day looking for an
answer and basically forgot to leave.

As for RR, yes I am greatly pleased and haven't had any trouble at all.
Will never forget the cable guy when he did what he had to do, saying, "Wow,
this is the first time I didn't get that RPC error during an
install/connection"... :o)

He had no clue and would tell customers that it had nothing to do with RR
and to take this up with a computer specialist. Geezzz..... But, he knows
what to do/say now!

Last comment is that I stayed with dial-up all of this time to troubleshoot
the dial-up issues for posters with XP.

Sorry for the long reply, folks.
