Keeping users out of development environment

Laurel

I have an application that users have been opening with a shortcut on their
desktop. This removed the various menu items available in the development
environment (and did I'm not sure what else). My problem is that the short
cut was lost, and I don't even remember exactly what it accomplished, never
mind what I had in the command line to accomplish it.

I've looked at "Start Microsoft Access with command line options" in help,
but don't see anything there. I'm not even sure of the right jargon to
identify the functionality I had. Can someone help me here?

Not sure what you had before but it could be the /Runtime switch in the
command-line options.

Thanks. That was exactly it. Any idea why "/runtime" doesn't appear in the
HELP topic "Startup command-line options?"

Not sure. I was using it in A97 (it was /runtime or /rt in A97) so I knew.

Hi Laurel

Microsoft Artice Q105128 covers all of the startup switches for Access
