When Removing attachments to minimize folder size, is there a way to have
Outlook flag the message so that I'll have some positive means of
subsequently confirming that a specific file was the attachment from a
specific message? I'm not just asking from a file management point of view,
but rather for documentation purposes, so that it would be obvoius to anyone
reviewing my files which messages are 'linked' with which Saved attachments.

If you search for "housekeeping" at www.slipstick.com you may find something
that can do this, or similar.
