KeePass - Open Source Password Manager

That looks really good Barry, a big improvement on PINs it would seem. And
it even has a PINs import plugin!

New version 1.05 just spotted. My favorite password manager.

How do you use this password manager in lieu of Roboform? Does it
automatically work with websites like Roboform or is it a separate
application that you have to enter all data manually into it and just
refer to it for username/password?

Have been trying for a half hour to download this file, as exe or zip,
with IE and Stardown. All I get is a 12.4KB file, and it's not zipped.
The same goes for the source zip.

Anyone have an explanation?

I have no problems. Have you tried another mirror?

Well, it seems my jubilation was a bit premature.

Yes, Al's link worked fine, but the KeePass version available there,
0.2.2.1, is an ancient one from 2003, not the recent V1.05. There's a
much more recent version on the Pricelessware 2006 CD.

So I went searching with Google, and after a half dozen more abortive
downloads that resulted in 14KB "copies" of KeePass 1.05, I finally
found a downloadable copy at :

www.scanwith.com/download/KeePass.htm

Unlike most of the other sites found, it doesn't redirect you to
sourceforge, where the download problems occur.

Thanks, Achim. I've put that version on my site.
