keep the pop3 connection alive

A pop3 server, once checked the mails, doesn't allow to check again
immediately. I guess there is a time delay of three minutes or more. Because
of this I could not delete immediately the spam mails with Mailwasher
software.

Is there any solution for this? Is it possible to keep the pop3 connection
alive?

Is this your own mail server, under your own control? Or does it belong
to a web host or your ISP? If the former, what mail server program are
you using? If the latter, contact their tech support and ask them what
to do because the restrictions are on their end.
