keep loosing internet connection

running xp-pro with broadband connection. I keep on loosing the internet
connection, and the dial up manager keeps on popping up. Sometimes by
clicking on the "working on line" option allows me to continue browsing,
othertimes i have had to reboot to regain the connection,
any thoughts would be most appreciated,

Lossing your connection could be your ISP their could be
a bad amplifier on your street
As far as your dial up manager goes if your usind
broadband your not using it right click on ot in network
connections and disable it?

Hi, Andy.

Have you run a virus check? Otherwise, seek some help from your ISP.
Disconnecting issues are more often than not a confihguration problem in
that area or a problem with the ISP themselves. Finally, have you had any
problems with the phone line?

Define what "loosing" something is? Is that supposed to be the
opposite of "tighting" it?

Of course, I'm not exactly sure what "lossing" something is, either.

That said, have you contacted your broadband provider and brought this
to their attention? Are you running cable or DSL? Has it ever worked
fine before? If so, what have you done to your box recently?

You're way to short on details to get much help here.
