keep loosing connection

I have a dell 4700 dimension that keeps loosing the connection to internet.
My ip address keeps dropping to 0.0.0.0. I recently moved and switched from
yahoo to comcast. Very frustrating works sometimes but keeps dropping off.
Ipconfig/flushdns command does not work.

Open Device Manager, locate your NIC or other network connection, and
under Properties, Power settings, deselect the option to "Allow computer
to turn off this device to save power".
