Keep getting "Dialog Box is open" in outlook

As soon as i open outlook (Office 2007) and try to do anything i get a box
pop up saying that there is a dialog box open, please close it. i cannot
close outlook from the normal ways, i have to then go into task manager and
close it from there.
I have been using outlook for months ok
 
Do you get the same error when you open Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Which addins do you have installed?
Tools-> Trust Center-> Addins

Shut down, outlook open word, then enter the initials in the dialog box this
is the one outlook is looking for. then close word and outlook will start up
OK
