Keep getting an ordinal 6467 could not be located in MFC42.DLL

Hi... I installed the microsoft anti spyware beta software and keep on
getting the following message when opening a variety of programs... "The
ordinal 6467 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.DLL" -
how do i get round this problem?
