Keep Footer in Same Place

Can I force the footer to stay in a static location? Trying to print reports
to pre-printed forms...have the total section set up to print in a specific
box...but the footer keeps moving on me depending on the detail size.

Thanks,

Tony

"Footer" of what? A section, a page, a report?

Hi Jeff,

For a report. I am trying to print Invoices to Pre-Printed forms. The Footer
section is a Invoice Total section. First I want it to print on the end of
the Invoice only...in the case of multiple pages -- not on first...only last.
I just cant get it to print to the same location depending on the detail
section.

Thank you...Tony

So you're saying that you have a "groupby" section and want something
printed at the bottom of that section, but you want it to print at the
bottom of the page?

I'm not sure how I'd do that -- perhaps one of the other newsgroup readers
has more experience doing this...

Reports aren't particularly intended to "fill in pre-printed forms" so we
often have to explore what we have and what we want. Sometimes that takes
more than a vague description (see next paragraph). Just where on the page
is your Invoice Total? Is it at the bottom of the page? Is there such a
section at the bottom of every page, and, if so, what do you want done with
the Invoice Total sections that aren't on the last page?

The Report Footer will, automatically, "print at the end of the Invoice
only" -- so you haven't given us enough information to give you an answer.
