Keep e-mail, delete attachment?

How can you save an e-mail, but get rid of an attachment that's taking up a
lot of space? My users need to keep their e-mails for a month or two, but
sometimes these e-mails contain ridiculously large attachments. Can they
delete the attachment?

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks! I'm surprised that this ability isn't native to Outlook :-(

I think it is. If you open the message, delete the attachment, and close
the message, you'll be asked if you want to save the changes. If you answer
"yes", the attachment will be gone.

Ah... If I open the message and right-click, then choose remove, it allows
this...
