KB913433 security update for flashplayer

Hi

I received today the security update for flashplayer KB913433 through
automatic windows update

the update does not install on my pc, what can be the cause of this?

any Ideas would be greatly appreciated,

Suggestion: Remove your version(s) of Flash player, and get the latest version.

Bring up Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options/ select VIEW Tab and look at all of settings listed.

"CHECK" (turn on) Display the contents of system folders.

Under column, Hidden files and folders----choose ( *select* ) Show hidden files and folders.
Next, un-check Hide extensions for known file types.
Next un-check Hide protected operating system files.

need this update after all

Thank you for your suggestion Maurice,

I deleted the flash.ocx file, and now the update doesn't show up anymore
