KB867801 IE 6 Update

I installed the KB867801 IE 6 update, and now my Mozilla
Firefox and Opera browsers will not run.

Has MS surreptiously installed code to block their
competitors???!!! PLEASE ADVISE if anyone else has
experienced this issue - if so, it should be publicized
widely ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
