hey according to you what is the reason that though kazaa
contains lot of spyware,,,,the download of kazaa is
highest as compared to other mp3 tools

Hi,

Kazaa includes some "add-ons" that contain programs that monitor user
activity and "phone home" with the information. None of these are actually
necessary for the P2P software to work, but it all autoinstalls when you
install Kazaa, and the notice informing the user is buried deep in the
agreement. Kazaa also uses cydoor to open your machine as a server on the
network for other users. Cydoor is also known to be malicious software as
well.

You don't know what your talking about, I've used kazaa for years and there
ain't any spyware in the version I have.

Then your not using Kazaa.
It's well known that it is one of the most "infected" applications going.
Kazaa"Lite" does not have any spyware, but that is NOT Kazaa.
KazaaLite was written by a separate group of people as an alternative to
the spy ridden "Kazaa media desktop" and has nothing to do with the original
authors or the original spy ridden version.

Kazaa requires it's spyware to be working for the app to work. Run an
anti-spyware util and it will disable kazaa until you reinstall it and
thus, reinstall the spyware. Using kazaa is one of the best ways to get
to test out the latest virues/trojans that your anti-virus wont pick up.
Good luck on your virus testing.

Yes there is, even Sharman Networks says there are "additional components"
so YOU do not know what you are talking about.
