is there any quality p2p app out there that can connect to the same
network kazaa does?

I use SoulSeek, better than Kazaa in many ways (virtually zero file
corruption).

Even though it was made for sharing electronic music, this purpose has been
defeated: you can find almost anything from oldies to death metal.

http://www.slsknet.org , but remember to share files, otherwise you may get
banned/ignored by many users.
