I'm sure that Kasperskey is probably the best at detecting virus's and
trojans but I tried to trial it but had to uninstall it after an hour.
The reason for this is that I have 5 users on my Windows XP system and
unless each person logs off before switching users Kasperskey does not
load on the new users page. This has been confirmed by their technical
support. This is not practical as my daughters like to stay logged on to
download film trailers and listen for their mates logging on to
Messenger.Also if I start a virus check that could take hours no-one
could switch to surf the internet. Nortons had no such trouble and nor
does PC Chillin 2004 which I'm trying now. I'm just letting people know
about this before they buy it if they are in a similar situation to me.
For a single user it's probably great.
