Just spotted this

Sounds like a nasty surprise for some  I have downloaded one or two add-ons, but fortunately, not the ones mentioned. Thank you for the heads-up Cap'n :thumb: :)

Moral of this story , don't install experimental add-on's

Moral of this story - take two: USE YOUR NOGGIN!

More specifically: before installing ANY add-ons, do a wee Google search ("suchandsuch_addon spyware", for example). And DO visit the "original" home page – in this case:

Looks plenty trustworthy, non?

I've shaken hands with the geezer pictured above

Not a lot of people know that.

Firefox's popularity as an alternative to IE has been it's own undoing, it seems.

The Internet is similar to the Wasteland in Fallout 3 or Mad Max's Australia.

Anarchy, outlaws, brutality, cruelty and criminality.

Oh, and malware.

So that's why I never, ever, trust anything that hasn't been vouched for by people I trust.
