We have talked to lexmark a thousand times and they still cant help us figure
out what is wrong. I think it has something to do with the computer its self
maybe someone can help me. When we try to install the printer, with the cd,
or even with the installment wizard everything goes fine until I get to the
end and then I get this message that pops up
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and microsoft applications. Any body that can help me get this
printer installed would be greatly apperciated. We have wedding inviatations
to print and this is kinda getting irritating. Thank you so much!

Download the Windows XP drivers designed for you specific
Lexmark printer and install them:

Try copying the autoexec.nt file from c:\windows\repair to
c:\windows\system32

or open command prompt and type

copy %SYSTEMROOT%\repair\autoexec.nt %SYSTEMROOT%\system32
