Junk mail that is NOT junk mail

H

My Outlook 2000 has been doing something very weird. For the past few months
I've been using the junk and adult filters with great success. Howeveer,
today I noticed that several pieces of email are being labeled junk when I
never assigned them as junk.

I looked through the junk and adult filter list to see if I assigned them
accidentally, but found nothing. I even opened the "Junk Senders" and "Adult
Content Senders" lists in WordPad and did a search. Nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why Outlook is doing this?

You could take a look at the Filters.txt file, which is kind of a readme
file that describes what criteria Outlook uses to determine which messages
are junk if you haven't already specified the addresses in the Junk Senders
and Adult Senders lists. You can't edit Filters.txt, but it may give you
some clues.

Search for files called Junk Senders.txt and Adult Content Senders.txt.
They may be hidden depending on your operating system version.
