Junk Mail & Rules

Is there a way to set my Rules to be processed before the Junk Mail?

For example:

I have a rule that deletes mail from certain senders from the server. But
the Junk Mail component catches these e-mails before my rule does, and puts
it in the Junk Mail folder.

Does anybody know of a workaround?

On another note, is there a way to keep the junkmail folder from displaying
the number of unread messages in the folder? i.e. - mark all messages in
that folder as read automatically?

Thanks.

What version of Outlook are you using? Note: this group does not support
Outlook Express.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

Sorry for not being clear. I am using Outlook 2003. (I wasn't aware that
there was a junk mail filter in previous versions of Outlook)
