Junk mail in Deleted Items folder

J

John

Windows Mail usually directs most spam messages into my Junk E-mail folder.
However some of it goes into the Deleted Items folder and I don't know why,
although I have noticed that in most cases the text is in French or, less so,
in other languages. In many cases, the domain ends in .com.

Is there something I can do to stop this happening or is it something that
Microsoft ought to take up ?

Unless you have a message rule to that effect, mail 'should' not be
delivered to your Deleted Items folder. Perhaps there is an obscure
bug in Windows Mail that causes the problem you mentioned.
I switched to Windows Live Mail 21 months ago, so perhaps that
would be a good fix for you also.

Microsoft will not fix any bugs in Windows Mail since it has offered
Windows Live Mail as the replacement email program.
