Junk email over riding rules

I've set up several email rules but the junk mail filter is still taking
them and moving the to junk rather than following the rules and dropping
into the correct folders. Anything I can do? I run several lists with 5000
plus members I really don't want to add each one to safe list in order for
the rule to win out.

You're not alone. In my case the Junk filter move messages from a trusted
sender anytime one new one arrives.

You can disable the Junk filter an create rules to fight the SPAM manually.
 
Are all 5000 members in your Contacts? If so, on the Safe Senders
screen you can select the option to "Also trust e-mail from my Contacts".

In my experience, this is not always 100% effective. If no improvement,
all you can do is turn off the junk filter, and perhaps add a third party
anti-spam solution.
