Junk E-mail ID & Folder

Raymond Sanborn

Can anyone tell me how to -
(1) Have the Junk E-mail feature of Outlook 2002 only
filter out those addresses that I specfically identify.
(2) Have all Junk Mail that I have specifcally
indentified in (1) sent directly to the Junk E-Mail
without showing in the Inbox view.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Windows
XP Prof. system running Office XP.

1) Set the Junk E-mail options to "No Automatic Filtering" and just specify
the naughty addresses in your Blocked Senders list.

2) It all has to come into the Inbox first; the move should be fairly
transparent to you but there isn't any way to have it go straight to Junk
E-mail without ever touching the Inbox.

Ben:
I understand your answer to my No. 1 question. However,
in my number two question are you saying that my Junk E-
mail will appear with all my other Inbox messages and
then I will have to identify them and manually transfer
then to my Junk E-mail folder? The reason I ask in that
when I open my Junk E-mail folder it's empty? Or, is
there some type of time limit that I'm unaware of that
automatically clears my Junk E-mail folder? If so, I am
unable to find such a setting?
As you can see, I'm just trying to find a way to minimize
my need to deal with junk mail. I wouldn't mind reviewing
it periodically in my Junk E-mail folder. I just don't
want to deal with it in my Inbox if possible. Since I'm
specifically identifying my Junk E-Mail Senders there's
no need to review this folder except to delete it
periodically if I can have the junk mail placed in it
automatically.
Thanks, for replying, with your helpful comments, to my
original post and any additiooanl help you may provide.
