JUMP TO A SPECIFIC SLIDE NUMBER

F

FARAZ QURESHI

If my audience are not interested in watching the slides 5-10 (6 slides) how
can I skip the same? When the slide 4 is on screen if I press down arrow key
or click the mouse, slide 5 should come up however, if I press "N" I want the
next upcoming slide to be the 11th one.

How to achieve the desired mode?

Thanx in advance

If you want to jump to slide 11, press 11 on the keyboard, then press enter.

What Shawn and John said and ...

What I would do is have some kind of menu or buttons that allows me to
select. If you give a lot of presentations, it's easy to forget that in
this one you want to jump to slide 11 at this particularly point in the
presentation (especially if you do this a lot). Personally, and maybe
because I'm getting old and forgetful, I would want some kind cue to me
to make the jump so I would put (possibly subtle) button and click on
it. However, if your good with the keypress, then the other solutions
are good ones.

That's way-cool, John -- I never knew about the H key. In experimenting with
it, I note that you must be right in front of the slide that is hidden in
order for H to work. I wonder if I would ever remember the location of my
hidden slides! I wish it were a toggle instead, whereby you could press it
anytime to temporarily change the status of all hidden slides to unhidden.

Listen to me, I've just discovered this new trick and I'm already
complaining about it... <g>
