Can you create a pop up calendar that shows both the Julian and Gregorian
date in the same day box?

(by the way, I believe there may be more than one version of "Julian" dates
.... how are you defining this term?)

Yes, I understand this is for access. I have a pop up calendar on a form and
I want to add the Julian day number in a corner of the day box along with the
gregoian date in the center of the day box.

If I were approaching this, I'd first figure out how to "calculate" the
(still undefined) version of Julian in a query, then use that query as a
source for the form.

As requested elsethread: which Julian date do you want? Military julian date
(last digit of year, three digit day of year)? 08057? 2008057? Astronomical
Julian date? Modified Astronomical Julian Date?

That's the concern. The term is ambiguous and has been applied to many
different date formats.

they want me to recreate it in access. I have a pop calendar but not sure

They want the ability to pick a date range for the past year or for the next
year.

Sorry... but that is yet another variant on the term Julian date. But it's an
easy one!

Just put a textbox in the corner bound to the date field, with its Format
property set to "y".
