I have a jpg that is 3+ MB. Get an error message when I try to copy or drag 'n drop the image into the Images folder in my Front Page 2000 web. Is there a size limit in FP (like 1MB) that prevents jpg images larger that one MB??

There is an issue with files over 1mb in size and there is no known fix at the
time.
3mb is a huge file for a jpg. It must be 3 feet wide. Does it really need to
be that big??

You could resize it with the free IrfanView www.irfanview.com

Steve: We need to point out the issue is with FP2000 (and FP2002, if I
recall) and is related to a patch that was installed. I think an office
update or maybe an IE update? It slips my mind.

Anyway, I don't find the problem to exist in FP 2003 and Office 2003.

Tom,
I don't have the problem in 2002 - with no patches - so it must be a patch.

I run FP2000 under Windows XP Home working against server-based webs (a local Windows 2003 Server
with FP2002 extensions and remote with Windows 2000 Server and FP2002 extensions), all Windows, IE
and Office Updates have been applied and I can import (drag-n-drop) any size file into any current
open FP web.
