How can I convert a full screen jpeg to bmp. I'm trying
to create a start up menu with my own pics but it needs
bitmap images.

If you do not have an image editing program you
can open the image in MS Paint and go to...File /
Save As.

Start / All Programs / Accessories / Paint.

If you need an .ico file you can use IrfanView:

Download IrfanView

(get the plug-ins too)
